Privacy policy
Updated November 8, 2026
This notice explains the current PAUCI website and Orlando Night Out Survey, operated by Shawn Jurgrau. The survey helps understand preferences and plan possible nights out in Orlando and on the Space Coast. Taking part does not create a membership, ticket reservation or payment obligation.
What we collect and why
When you submit the survey, we store your selected answers, any optional written answer, optional name and email, your event-email consent choice, submission time, a submission identifier and whether the entry was marked as a test. We use responses to understand interests and support event planning. Name, email and written answers can be left blank. Please do not include sensitive personal information.
What is public and what stays private
The public results page shows combined multiple-choice counts and the number of non-test responses. It does not display names, email addresses or written answers. Individual responses and exports are restricted in the application to the configured organizer account. Hosting and database providers process information to operate the service. The organizer can download response exports.
Optional email updates
Providing an email requires a separate opt-in for occasional upcoming-event emails. You can submit without an email or without signing up for updates. An automated email campaign is not currently enabled. If you receive an event email, you can reply to ask to stop updates. A dedicated privacy-request contact is not yet available; see below.
Browser storage and invitations
Survey choices and your written draft are saved in this tab’s session storage so a refresh can recover them. Name and email are not included in the draft. The draft is cleared after a successful submission. A form token is also stored in the tab to recognize a repeat submission; it is valid for up to 24 hours. You can clear this site’s browser storage yourself.
If you use an invitation code, we store its protected hash, label, creation and expiry times, usage limit and redemption count. Successful redemption sets a secure, HTTP-only invitation cookie so you can reopen the welcome page. It expires after at most seven days, or earlier when the invitation expires, and revoking the invitation ends access. Invitation access does not make your survey answers public.
Security and technical information
The application validates submissions, checks signed form tokens and uses measures to reduce automated and repeated submissions. Where the hosting platform supplies a connection address, rate-limit records use a keyed hash rather than storing the raw address in the survey database. These short-lived records expire within approximately two hours and are removed during subsequent rate-limit checks. These controls do not guarantee that every response comes from a different person.
The site uses ChatGPT Sites and Cloudflare hosting and database infrastructure. Providers may process technical information, such as connection and request information, under their own policies. Owner sign-in uses ChatGPT authentication. The application checks the signed-in account identity before permitting organizer access. No advertising tracker or payment checkout has been added to this application.
Retention and your choices
There is currently no configured automatic deletion schedule for submitted survey responses or organizer exports. The organizer has not yet set a fixed retention period. Browser drafts and invitation cookies have the limits described above; deleting browser storage does not delete an already submitted response.
Participation is voluntary. You can leave optional fields blank or choose not to submit. A dedicated contact for access, correction, deletion and email-consent requests is still being set up. No unverified email address is listed here. The contact channel and retention policy need to be completed before wider distribution.
Sharing the survey
Copying or sharing the survey link is your choice. The sharing tools do not collect your friends’ email addresses. If you share through another app, that app’s own privacy practices apply.
